Michele: A dob sort is one other way to view the Name List and check for duplicates. I have a spider web of several hundred Acadians and it's easy to miss common ancestors in all that. It's a quick way to check for blank dob fields (which can also be done with a search), it's one more way to scan for odd-looking entries, and I like to open and sort a GEDCOM by dob before posting online to make sure I haven't accidentally included someone I shouldn't have.
None are big deals, and wild horses couldn't drag me back to FTM for data entry, but it would be handy to have a dob sort capability within Legacy.
