Hi Kirstin,
Ron's reply about the spaces in folder names is right on. However, if
you are using the most current build of Legacy Deluxe (this may be true
for previous builds but I cannot be sure) using spaces in _picture file
names_ should cause no problem. See my post of 3/9/2006 under this same
thread. While creating web pages, Legacy automatically coverts the
names of the copies of pictures it puts into the web\pictures directory
into ones that have "_" substituted for spaces and also coverts the
names to all lower case.

Why should we not put spaces in folder names? I followed the link &
couldn't find it. Also, the article tells us to edit the paths in the
Master path list by hitting the edit button. I could not find an edit
button.

Roxanne,
Please go to our website at
http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Tips.asp (or
click on the "Tips from the Experts" link under
"Support" on the Legacy Home
tab in v6) where you'll find a great article
under "Pictures, Sound and Video:
Multimedia Files" which gives you are
suggestions for naming and storing
pictures you're linking in Legacy.
Make sure you don't have any spaces in the
picture file names and folder
names (that's all explained in the article)
