Correct. The thing that you've got to remember is that we get the
government we're prepared to tolerate. And right now, the government we
tolerate is run by two competing gangs of fascists. The Republicans want it
as a permanent system of government and the Democrats, (like Hitler
curiously
enough) consider it to be a transitional stage in the attainment of
socialism.
And as long as the majority of people are more interesting in crap like
American Idol than they are in doing the heavy lifting needed to run a
government,
it's going to stay that way.
