Ugh. you may be better-off getting the latest slackware, (which probably has a 2.0.35 or later kernel, not sure), and then updating the kernel. I imagine that 2.0.0 to 2.2.0 would break stuff. Not sure though. Can anybody offer some insight? Generally, kernel recompilation isn't that big a deal. Also, 2.2.1 is out.
