Lilo

I have Linux-Mandrake 6.0 installed and I am trying to get the lilo default
changed. I fired up Linuxconf and changed it, but the following error was
given when I was trying to activate the changes:

/sbin/lilo

vga mode presetting is not supported by your kernel
return 1


Being a newbie, what the heck does that mean?
