Then it will work with KDE .wav files, providing the permissions are set
correctly, they are set correctly at install time.
Another possable reason is you dont load the sound modules before starting
X, i had a simalar problem when i first installed a new system, or i belive
that was the problem as loading the sound module then exiting X and
restating solved the problem.
