Yes, but the problem is they listed her title as "First Princess", and from
what I understand of the language, you don't specify that unless they are other
princess, queen or what not in there, and I doubt the country are ruled by
committee with all the princes/princesses, so I think it make more sense for a
king/queen to be above her.

See above - the first in front of her title strongly suggest there is another
person at least above her head.

I think that if you take into account that she is just one of the princesses
the kingdom has, then it make all the sense - she is basically the only one
they can send out, because she really doesn't have any power, or otherwise she
need to stay in the country to help stabilize it - they are still fighting all
over that place. It then make sense for them to send her instead of the
king/queen because they need to stay, or the country would be gone. People
don't really respect her because she is just one of the princesses. Then it
also make sense why Shirin is helping Marina - if she can become the ruler,
then Shirin would be one of the major advisors, something she cannot be
currently due to the political structure.

Guess I am just confused as to why you would guess she is the queen, because
almost everything they show in the anime suggest otherwise. Maybe it's because
I watched Code Geass and I can see her and Yufie has way too many similiarities.
