For that I would encourage them to visit the CSS Zen Garden
I'd be wary of recommending the Zen Garden for the fact that a lot of the designs don't represent best practice CSS coding. Yes they're great examples of how you can break boundaries, but you'll also find examples where a lot of the mark-up has simply been set to display: none in favour of a huge graphic that contains all the text.
