Yikes. I remember being absolutely petrified by the Dr. Who story that
featured the slug like things that popped up all over the place, being
fought off by Jon Pertwee and yon Brigadier chap as they pranced about in ye
olde yellow car etc.
In my defence, I was about six back then, and it made a rather harsh
contrast with the jolly world of the Basil Brush that was on before it...
those were the days!
