Dear Sir and listmates :-)

- I'll get back to the matter yet this afternoon.

- I'll take the liberty to stress that the KIWI/LTSP server is in
perfect good shape, it'll feed a pile of clients just fine. All in all,
it works like a breeze.

It's only when I fire up those HP clients, that things break.

In fact...I also installed (in a VM) an LTSP Ubuntu server, just for
trying. This LTSP server serves all clients perfectly fine - only NOT
the bloody HP things which breaks at the very same spot. And...the HP
works like a charm from, say, Ubuntu/SuSE live DVD's. And from harddisk
and all. Only when I wish it to run as a client does things break.

I'll try to be quick on the keyboard and see it I can do the ctrl+alt+Fn
trick - and report back!
