++ We shouldn't forget that we we don't have to have our own infrastructure you could always use someone else's e.g MTN has fibre all over , question is what are they doing with it all ??? , since there are all these fancy things you hear are out there( european countries and all), what could be so impossible to do with the capacity we have here in Uganda?? i personally think we can match up, BUT we all know the bureaucracy one has to go through to get something done, waiting has never been an option though we as providers find ourselves in that corner because of regulations that govern us. The market is opening up as the days and months go by , i believe all this confusion will come to pass and the technologies/innovations will step up, and most provider's core business will take a swing. PS: i disagree with henry on one point, someone shouldn't show you the way, why not come up with something and follow through?? if it is worth it "TRUST ME " some will follow and by the time they do you either have gotten better or worse, so its a make you / break you situation. ****just a though > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Badru Ntege Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2005 6:11 PM To: > [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 'Linux Users Group Uganda' Subject: RE: > [LUG] GMAIl now at 2GB > > You've got that wrong mate, if we did everything that has potential > of making money you would be a jack of all trades and a master of > non. > > As much as we do a number of other businesses I will not be able to > do web designing as well as metrocomia does.
