I maintain the latest RPMs for lyx. These RPMS are build for Redhat 6.X on
a i586 machine. Other architectures and OS combinations are contributed by
other users and get put into my ftp area.

Look in ftp://ftp.sylvan.com/pub/lyx

These are already installed in /usr/share/lyx/images
