That would be very helpful indeed. We do have some Hebrew testers, so we get some RTL testing, and we do have an Arabic translator. But, as Scott said, we could definitely use more testing of RTL.

    Welcome, Mohamed!

    Is any of your LyX work in Arabic? I just ask because RTL
    languages are
    an area where LyX does not get a lot of testing.

    As Riki said, I would say start with whatever interests you. For me I
    think it was documentation just because it was a comfortable area to
    contribute in.
