Do you mean uk.comp.sys.mac is easier to find? To be honest, I didn't know about that newsgroup, but that's probably due to me long ago giving up on newsgroups because I got fed up with the low signal-to-noise ratio. I don't tend to use many web-forums either - I can just about cope with the 30 or so mailing lists that I'm on.

With Thunderbird being able to handle newsgroups I might give it another go one of these days, but it's low priority.
