If you don't mind me asking...why? I've always understood that this list is
for all Mac users in the UK... And it has such low volume (normally) that no
one could have any real objection to threads with lots of early Apple
hardware topics...It would most certainly be easier than creating a new
subdirectory of the Usenet groups? I've never been aware of anyone having a
go at someone else on this list because they discussed only early hard or
software for Macs...(okay they do get a ribbing to upgrade, but generally
with a wink and a nod).

In my heavily biased opinion, they are two considerably different beasts
with entirely different concepts.

I found myself wondering if the list still worked recently because of the
lack of posts, that being the main reason for my post on the Tiger update,
my apologies if anyone feels I hijacked the list for my (current) newer
hardware attention...

(I do however own a Apple Iie and a LC475 with OS 7 so any posts on these
topics are well received by me at least!)
