There's two ways to allocate memory - one is in the preferences and can
be done with Parallels running. The Configuration editor must be done
with the virtual machine stopped.

Should I also change the memory allocation in the preferences and if so,

Do I want to "Enable Virtual Memory Preallocation"? or should I leave
the check box for this option unchecked?

Thanks.
