Gulp, that’s not good Nora, I’ll keep checking. I received a new modem today from Hughes Satellite. I ONLY have them as a backup.
They don’t seem to have any American’s working for them so I can’t get anywhere when I call. If I keep Hughes direct ethernet to the Mac all is well (if you like to watch corn grow) but going through the Apple Airport it won’t work at all. I will call to see if they can figure out how to set in Bridge mode, but I don’t expect good results. When I check with chat groups I find that bunches of people can’t get Hughes to work with Apple products, nor many other products either… Things are better than just a few years ago, but some firms still find themselves in the back of the bus.
