That’s awesome, John! Mine is almost a month away. Already got my new modem, though, ready for the move. HAD to replace my old one because it was working really badly and was sending junk to my router. I finally realized that was why, even though all the speed tests came through right on the money, I was getting pretty spotty internet access. The new modem makes all the difference! I took the old one apart today, and every capacitor was bulging out their tops, a sure sign they are toast, or a least well on their way. AAMOF, I am surprised it worked at all. =:-) It lasted several years, though, so it was cheaper than renting one from TWC. Another thing: I had a couple of great conversations with TWC tech support people this weekend as a result of my issues. One guy, who was with TWC before they bought Insight, said that they are all looking forward to being acquired by Charter, because Charter values customer service highly. One thing he said stuck out: Charter refuses to off-shore ANY of their customer support. Very good to hear!
