I’m familiar with the criticism of Mao’s “bloc of four classes”, and at a quick glance your criticism of the strategy does not seem to depart in any significant way from that made by Trotsky and his Chinese supporters who were expelled from the CCP, notably Chen Duxiu, its first general secretary.
