Thanks for making your assumption clear, Hari. It is wrong. May I ask, though, is the reason it seemed to you I had "implicitly accepted the charge" because you accept the charge? I deleted my posts because they had been irredeemably sullied by Charles's malicious trolling and there was no point for them to remain there as the corpse occasion for whatever feeding of the troll was to ensue. As for varieties of Marxism, I hestitate to call myself a Marxist because so many who call themselves that have a superficial or reified understanding of Marx's writings. That is not to say I have the "correct" interpretation of Marx's writings. THERE IS NO SUCH THING. There is too much variety, variability, volume, and value to Marx's writings for there to be a correct interpretation. I am not by any stretch of the imagination a "Frankfurter" any more than I am a Bolshevik, Menshevik, Revisionist or Orthodox Second Internationalist, not to mention the two hostile post-Leninist camps. My position is that publication of the early manuscripts revealed more humanist depth to Marx than had previously be admitted and that publication of the Grundrisse revealed analytical depth that in some cases contradicted what had become traditional interpretations.
