None.... true dB reading is a Sharp feature!

I don't abuse my equipment. I have to work hard for it, so I'm very carefull
with it. But it's my own personal experience.

As for the portable? The Sony MZ-R50 or Sharp 821 or Sharp 722 should be very
fine choises. Both have pro's and con's. I hate for instance the 'toyisch'
remote of the Sharps. But I wouldn't buy any portable that comes without a LiIon
battery.
