I just traced the route from my computer to the minidisc web page

it is pretty surprising. It goes from detroit (my house) to livonia,
Mi. to detroit, to chicago, to dallas,tx. to fairfax, va to carlton tx,
to chicago, to boaston mas and then to arlington, mas.
all in about 600 ms.
