Don't confuse what Richard has said here with the method I posted as
it is not the same deal. As Richard says, don't ever be tempted to undo
the centre nut while the strut is in the car - we'll all be sending you
get well cards.

I wonder where we have seen the trolley jack method used regularly
- A. just about in any suspension workshop, you must admit it's a very
fast way of removing/fitting struts and time is $, but as you say tres
dangerous.
