Hi Mark,

I would check all the fuses and then check the wiring again.
My friend had a ford telstar and the stereo worked fine, until
he turned his headlights on. Then the stereo would turn off.

I just checked the wiring and somehow he had connected the power wrong,
so may just pay to check it again.

what sort of car is it??

c-ya

Subject: help! - stereo install

Hi everyone,
I have recently installed two stereo head units in my friends cars, just
simply using the same wires for constant 12v, acc 12v, earth and the
speakers as were previously used by the original stereo.
My problem is in both cases their dash lights no longer work! I didn;t think
the stereo had anything to do with the dash lights!
Can anyone explain why this might be happening so that i can fix their cars
before they get really angry! :)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Mark
