Well, some of us are retired and do have lots of time - not sure how the rest of the active group - especially Kaleb - do it. I only get really tired of it [and yes, think I should just drop the list] when folks post lots of the sort of comment that is made among a group of the same political persuasion, basically a form of "Yeah, all them Democrats / Republicans are just idiots...," Myopic statements without providing solid backing and reasons for it only mirror what is going wrong with our civility and our political life. In the entire history of the world there is possibly one or two people who have been swayed to change their political beliefs because of such, but I have a strong suspicion that not anyone on this list is ever going to change their basic belief system by being bludgeoned with email arguments. I enjoy a difference of opinion, but there really is more than one possible answer to about any question, and it is almost never a question of who is right or wrong. Not even with who will be president. My perspective anyway. BillR
