Went out for a test drive.....as stated on level ground I could coax it into 
gear and once it hit 3rd and 4th the car ran fine.  But it did not work well 
going up a hill! Definitely symptomatic of the B2 Piston failure so I think I 
will get away without getting a new transmission thanks to the group.  


I will visit the Transmission Shop tomorrow morning armed with the problem and 
solution and see if he will take on the task and how much.


Will pass on the results.
