I don’t have a problem with hybrids, per se, as I’ve driven them as loaners and rentals and been quite impressed with the economy. However, I would rather not get a vehicle with a technology and systems I have absolutely no familiarity with. A regular IC drivetrain I can deal with, regardless of manufacturer, but a hybrid system would be something totally new, and this is neither the time nor place to be experimenting.
Thanks for the suggestion, however. Of the Escapes I’ve seen listed there aren’t many hybrids, maybe 1-2 out of 20-30 listings.
