Thanks, Rick. With Mitch mentioning something about rear window hinges I inspected these closely and found nothing of concern.
I’m hoping it’s a good choice. Seems like a solid vehicle, and I’ve got experience with both Fords and Mazdas of this era, so if I do have to wrench on it I’m not worried about anything being out of my range of ability or skill. One thing of note I found odd - these vehicles don’t have gas caps! Apparently, there’s a shutter in the filler neck that seals everything off, so a cap would be redundant.
