My W123 300D is currently wearing 195-70R14 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires,
the W116 300SD (with what appears to be the same Bundt style wheels) has
205-70R14 General Altimax RT. I would not swear that either one is
officially the "best" size. The W116 has the tires that were on it when
I got it, and the W123 has gotten the same size it had before anytime
I've replaced tires. Both cars have atrocious traction in the snow.
