MBZ cruise sucks.......It is not even close to good enough to keep the engine at a steady enough speed under changing loads to maintain a steady voltage and frequency. It could work, but not very good for electronic equipment.
You could generate DC power and keep a battery bank charged to run a large inverter but that is probably too costly for what I think you want to do.
