No, Capitolism is about building new state Capitols. Capitalism is about
making money. My opinion is that all corporations should be forced into a
Not For Profit scenario so that they are unable to just horde the money they
make forever and it has to be released back into the overall income stream
of the general public by years end. That's just my opinion, though.

The problem with the car industry is that Pavlov has already gotten the
American public trained to bark like a dog until the price drops by 15%, at
a minimum. Saturn has had some real problems dealing with their customers
because they try everything they can to sell at sticker. They originally set
it up so that they simply did *not* deal. It was sticker or nothing, the
public did not like that.

So the "Stealership" scenario is a self fulfilling prophecy put it place by
both the manufacturers and the public. However, the rest of the world works
full car sale like negotiations and bartering on a bar of soap, so I'm not
sure what that says for us.

I think it would be nice to be more like Japan though. In Japan the car
salesman comes to you. Brings detailed sales catalogs and color samples like
a freaking carpet salesman and has the model of vehicle you were most
interested in for you to look at outside. They can get away with that
though, because before you can even buy a car you *must* prove you own a
place to park it, so the salesman can verify the parking spot and fill out
the paperwork for that too while they are there.
