Hello all
One of our old user group members gave me a device with no docs fo it
and only the vaguest notion of what it was.
It's a beige metal box about 11 3/8" Wide, 4" Tall, and 7 1/2" Deep. On the
front (front panel, top left,) is printed "BUFFALO" with a Buffalo nickel printed
below that. On the top right is printed "SL mkII" and "PERIPHERAL
SHARING DEVICE" There is also LEDs set up like this (centered on the
bottom of the front panel):

The Status LED is RED the rest are green. The green LEDs light up one
at a time and kepp on cycling over and over.
(the "~" represents the LEDs.)
On the back are 10 25 Pin connectorls, (Like a serial port) and are
clearly labled. There is also a set of 10 DIP switches, the place for
a stock power cord to plug in, and an On/Off switch.
I have the idea that this is to allow you to have several computers
connected to one modem and/or parallel device like a printer, but I
have no idea of how to use this. CXan anyone here identify this for me
and give me an idea of how to use it?
