Something like this:

  http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/api_map/
  http://java.sun.com/j2ee/

I wonder if such a P2EE project should build on CORBA just as J2EE does?
Is interoperability with J2EE a goal?

The other approach is to get the Perl language ported to the JVM. I know
some work has been put into that. In this case it's important to be able
to access the Java API's as easily as it is in Java.

I lean toward the second approach since it would give P2EE a faster
start, building on already existent frameworks. Eg. you could begin
writing EJB components in perl immediately.
