Agree with that, no Mog is ever going to be "comfortable" per se, albeit a lot more than a Caterham, in my experience shocks make a big difference both on the +8 and a 3 litre hairdrier, best Mike SWS

Softer shocker settings, lower tyre pressures will help a bit in ride comfort, as will softer seat cushions. But you don't buy a Mog for comfort. Best to join a local group, noggins as we call them, and chat to owners. The difference between models is more down to engine and width, not comfort. Others may say I am talking total tosh, but I hope that I have at least helped answer your question.
