Greetings Terry As you will notice by the responses it is very easy for this group to get distracted and go off on tangents, however some may say this is a positive of the group as it gives you 'value add' information you weren't even aware you wanted to know. However coming back to your original request for help, you didn't say if you were interested in the latest 'trad' offerings of the factory or an older more mature model that has been developed as there is a vast difference in engines offered over the years. As you are coming from an R500, are you looking at more recent models, or open to anything of interest. Keep asking questions, but do join in with local groups and do some hands on research. I've just sold my Caterham R500 - I got really fed up with the ridiculous performance, uncomfortable ride and strapping myself into a 4-point-harness [I'm not getting any younger or lighter!!]. I'm looking for the most comfortable ride possible [especially when cruising at around 70 mph] and for something that will age gracefully with me!! I would really appreciate your thoughts on the most appropriate model for me - the obvious options seem to be between the 4/4 and the Plus 4. Any help would be appreciated.
