Just extending the enquiry on sat nav devices a little, I'm planning a trip to the West Coast USA later this year ( sadly not in the Mog). Any views on whether a satnav is worth getting versus local maps; and if so whats the current fave? i imagine that finding our way across great stretches of desert isnt too taxing with a map, but I can foresee that LA might be!
