The instructions are the same for MPIR 1.2. The difference is that you need to download MPIR 1.2 from our website instead of MPIR 1.1:
http://www.mpir.org/ How far did you get with building MPIR since we last spoke? I have noticed there is usually a couple of days between each of your posts. When I post to mpir-devel, it takes about half a minute before I see my post appear on the mpir-devel list. How long does it take for you? Do you have the internet on the computer you are using to build MPIR? If so the discussion could go quite quickly if you stay online, try the steps we suggest and when you get stuck, immediately post. If one of the MPIR developers is online at the same time, the discussion could go quite quickly. So, please download MPIR 1.2, follow the instructions you have so far and tell us where you get stuck.
