Yes, Ed is correct.  You store data, but it is the trasport of that data
that makes XML look good.  To me, using XML to transport the data is like
using recordsets in Microsoft/ADO.

No, it's not.  You store *data* in a database, *not* metadata.  Do you
understand the difference?
