Try it, you'll like it. The "opening up" is not like most watches,
it's easy. The O ring seal is not delicate.

20mm is a size that fits the watch well keeping in mind how the case
is made, if the band were wider, the lugs would be intrusive. Also the
size of the watch does not reflect the weight of the watch...it's very
lightweight, which is not obvious from looking at it.

He said details, not size  :)  Yes, it's large! that's because there's
a lot of stuff in it. And it's neat stuff to look at.

David doesn't get any "warranty work" fixing flooded watches this
way...it makes sense to me. This is not a diving watch. It is safe to
wear it in rain, or other normal situations where water resistance is
needed. Most folks don't need a waterproof watch, and making it
waterproof is an expense they don't need to pay for.
