and this approach can be much faster in getting results.
I was just wondering if we could get to what ever justifications were
given for such a decision, we would at least know how to address this
situation if it comes up another time.
I cannot see any scope for 'facts' that are relevant to the choice of using
proprietary OSes for free laptops for schoolchildren, although of course the
local MS distributor may have a different opinion, one that the current head
of ELCOT may not be able to share very openly.
RTI can help in such situations if documents are official.
I will try contacting some one from ELCOT.
Quitea few are there who have been working since the decision to shift
to foss was made.
Let's see if some thing happens.
