I don't see how a petition would help. I just don't think they are effective (online petitions that is). It seems to me that many individual, well thought out emails to the CEO, or to someone else at Mandrake, detailing Civileme's importance to Mandrake, and more importantly, Mandrake's customers, would carry more weight than a petition.
