if you're quick you can still get the july 8th binaries from chris molnar's
site...they are the last ones which will co-exist with kde1...the new version
which chris will likely post tonight will replace kde1 rather than co-exist...
i think i'll add another installation of mandrake 7.1 on a separate partition
to play with this latest beta of kde2 in...that way i've got my ultra stable
kde1 available should some odd bug in kde2 find a conflict with my
configuration...the coders are rapidly anihilating the remaining known bugs
in kde2 and koffice, but some fixes have unforseen side-effects, and i like
always having a backup to use...
