Mark, I'm sorry if you took that as rude but it wasn't meant to be. It's a legitimate question that needs to be answered. The only way your concept would work is if it fits the needs of enough people and therefore gets enough "top down" marketing support behind it. The plan you seem to be proposing works more from a "bottom up" position and won't suit the needs of the majority. Again, not intended to be rude but was addressing what many others have said about why similar attempts have failed in the past.
