This is my own personal opinion, and a recommendation for SUN, The $120 dollar
plan was nice in that it allowed for continued access to the 10 patches and
email support form http://sunsolve.sun.com/ account for one year, it was both
time saving and allowed SUN defrey the support costs, also convenient feature
for small business and home users in providing confort for paid support in
production environments on a cost effective way. if Sunsolve site could add a
direct payment feature and attach the new account with ennoblement, then with
out human interaction then a low end service would be both beneficial for
production support of Solaris and other products as well goodwill for SUN
Microsystems in allowing the Software eng have a another line of communication
from a lager support base, since there are a lot more smaller workstations for
pc or sparc vs. large frames that one can not use OpenSolaris on, based on
internal company rules or recommendations for best practices.

One way for Regression testing is load to download Solaris 10, run a
inital_install , sign up for sunsolve.com, download the patches within 30days
of the install and run a live update to a new partition to allow for regression
testing on both the production by luactivate back to the version for checking
the button on Regression os level on the
http://www.opensolaris.org/bug/report.jspa form page based on snv_bXX level.
