Hey: I was thinking on the way home this evening; Is evidenced-based practice more about what HAS worked or what DID work. In other words, is E-BP concerned with data demonstrating that a certain treatment has been shown to be effective or with whether a particular treatment actually did work on a specific client.
If I am a practitioner do I want evidence that a treatment has been effective with previous patients or do I want evidence that a treatment is effective or was effective with a current patient? Is it historical treatment or current treatment that I am trying to show evidence for? It seems to me that what matter most is not what worked with 350 clients in a research study but what worked with the 1 client sitting in front of me. Feedback? Thanks, Ron ******************** Unsubscribe?
