In Evidence Based Practice (EBP) who actually "makes the call" that one intervention is more efficacious than another...how does EBP interact with concept of core competencies (ie do our core competencies more and more arise out of "proven" interventions....the Theory being tied to the Practice)? How is the Evidence weighted
....what criteria are used...are they the old friends "reliability and validity"? all this brings to mind another question...
Where do the proponents of EBP sit in relation to qualitative research?
