If we spend all the time trying to prove what we are doing, then when do we have time to treat? Yes, there should be evidence that it works, but we also need to look at the aspect that everyone is different and evidence based or not does not guarantee that it is going to work. We want patient specific treatment, so if there is evidence then we have forget that people are all different and not treat based on the person rather than a protocol. Even with evidence based treatment you have to do everything the same as it was done in the study. Unless all the pieces are placed exactly the same then it doesn't matter if it was evidence based because you are not following the criteria that the study was researching.
