Hi As far as I know this error is not related to mysql.*Syslog* is a standard for forwarding log messages in to an internet protocol comuter system (guyes please correct me if I am wrong).Hope you will get the some hint for your problem on the link * http://wiki.bestpractical.com/view/NoConnectionToSyslog*
