Check the fonts. If you can, change all the fonts to normal system fonts like Times or Arial. Then save as .doc or .rtf. You won't get the formatting to come with it though. That will, more than likely, have to be setup again in the word doc. PDF isn't made to go back and forth from different formats. It's an output program, usually the very last step in a workflow. You should try to talk them into using "comments" within a pdf document (which you can do with Reader 6) to tell you the changes necessary and then you can make them in the Frame document and then pdf a final. PDF to Word is an inefficient workflow. Sorry. ~James Opinions expressed are mine. Look behind you. BEHIND YOU! __________________________________________________________________ Hi, I am using MS-Word 2000 and Acrobat 6.0 My file began as a FrameMaker file which was later distilled and generated into a PDF. Occasionally, I need to send customers a Word version of the files. Using the Save As feature in Acrobat provides me only with the headings in the document but not any of the content (images, paragraphs of text, bulleted lists, etc.). For example, a PDF that starts out with the following: CHAPTER 1 - INTRODUCTION In the beginning bla, bla, bla, bla. bullet point - text bullet point - text In the end bla, bla, bla. Will only result in the following when saved as a Word document: CHAPTER 1 - INTRODUCTION How can I make sure that all text and images appear in the Word doc?
