The same happened to me! I was asked to cover a Greenpeace action against the
local electrical company, some years ago, and I had only an old Praktica L and
a P&S with me. That Praktica had the worst way to hold the film I've ever
seen... I took something like 50 exposures before starting to think that
something was going wrong... Remember: ALWAYS LOOK AT THE REWIND BUTTON!
Fortunately I took almost the same shots (10 instead of 50 :( ) with the P&S.
Some days later I bought an ME Super.
